Exiles = Busy Summer

Hey gang, just checking in. I've been going nonstop on Exiles for the past few months with this big Machine World story. Having a ball drawing Ultron, Vision, Machine Man, and Jocasta (and the Exiles!). It looks like I'm all set for another Exiles story arc after this, so I'll be busy on Exiles for most of 2009 it seems. It sure feels nice to finally be somewhat regular on a title again. Good times!

I'm looking forward to Heroes Con next month! Very excited that Dustin Nguyen and Eric Canete are coming out! It'll be great to catch up with old friends, too, especially since I missed last year while we were running around in Scotland. So, drop by and say hello if you're there!

sigh... yes. It drives me nuts. I wish Wizard would realize it would be to their own benefit to work with other shows -- instead of the "we're going to run you out of business" shit. I'd love to go back to Philadelphia for a show (it's one of my favorite cities), but Wizard keeps making it difficult.

whats weird is Wizard use to always have their con at the end of may/beginning of june, and then last year i think they both were going on at that time, and then this year wizard followed Heroes, is it only Wizard or are they both mad at each other for some reason.....

Nah -- each year Shelton (the guy who does Heroes) gives his dates to Wizard in advance so they can work together, and this is the third time they've put the Philly show on the same weekend. It's a real bummer -- I wish I had an explanation. They've had a lot of turnover with their convention staff in the past few years, so I doubt there's much to it... just poor planning at this point.

dam, thats no good..... I thought the end of May/beginning of June was a good annual schedule, seeing that they aren't keeping to it and coinciding with Heroes doesn't make much sense to me..... any idea if there is anything the fans can do about it?
